Lovely property in an excellent location

The layout and facilities and ideal for a family or multiple guests. The location ideal for total solitude and country living

1 Longstanding evidence of leaks from some of the radiators
2 Towel rail in upstairs king room was not working and leaks
3 Other small items did not function or broken
4 two balls missing from pool table and flights missing from darts
5 We reported the tumble dryer faulty but no confirmation received that the repair had been carried out but not sure it was done.

Spacious house with everything you could possibly need plus the advantage of the steam room and sauna. Peaceful rural surroundings perfect to unwind in. We couldn’t have asked for a better house to spend the weekend in.

We love this property for our annual family weekend away. Everyone has their own bathroom so no fighting. Everyone can do as they please during the day and then all sit down and share an evening meal.

The radiator at the top of the stairs was leaking. The number of glasses and plates could do with increasing, as when serving meals there were only 10 plates, no spare ones to use for serving.

The inside was of the house was stylish with a modern rooms and a beautiful main bathroom with an XL bath, the garden had a solid bench facing a beautiful hill and the games room had a perfect pool table to play with all night 10/10 experience.

The premises is absolutely stunning, we had the grounds to ourselves as the house next door was empty.

The kitchen was amazing and bedrooms spacious. The beds were comfortable. The views are amazing.

It was clear that the property had not been inspected recently, there were no darts for the dartboard and only one damaged ball for the table tennis. The table tennis table was covered in bird pooh! We had a chef on the Saturday night and had to clean the kitchen before he arrived as it was not particularly clean. The downstairs bedrooms are noisy in terms of people walking on the 1st floor, if you are a light sleeper not ideal. We enjoyed our stay but it fell short of being exceptional!

Absolutely wonderful place to gather with friends, great living room with beautiful log burner. Would absolutely love to stay there again. Comfy beds, great location, amazing facilities.

Please include oil for frying (as stated in description) and squeaky floor 🫶

Fabulous property in remote location

The barn had the wow factor. Very spacious with good sized bedrooms & so many bathrooms. The living area was great for the 10 of us being together. Lovely views & we found a lovely walk from the house. Also enjoyed being able to use the sauna & ste

As other reviewers have commented, the creaky floor is an issue & was impossible to ignore. Having to take all our recycling home with us wasn't ideal

Great location and beautiful barn

Great location, approx 5-10minutes from Tebay Services and the M6. Remote location with plenty of privacy. Loved the open plan living room and kitchen facilties. The design of the barn, the games room and sauna/steam room all very good features. T

Sauna was not quite as hot as expected but I guess it being a home sauna, this can be expected. The steam room had a seat which looked like it has some form of mouldrotting. Floorboards were quite squeaky. There were 3 bed rooms on the ground floor, all which were pretty much directly under the open plan living / dining / kitchen area, so you could be woken up by anyone who is quite heavy footed. There was a lack of flexibility with an early check in request. Had to strip the bedsheets and towels into one pile as well as get rid of your own recycling.

10 of us stayed here for our annual girls weekend and it’s was just perfect. The layout was ideal for entertaining. Beautifully decorated and the kitchen is one of the best equipped we have had. The views from every window were nothing more than spec

A welcome pack with milk and bread etc as shops are not nearby, stayed in a few places in the lakes and this is 1st for no welcome pack!

We had an excellent weekend, lots of fun, but would need floor sorting before going back

Very remote property which we liked, excellent space, good size rooms, steam room & sauna great with showers/ toilets etc & 2 amenity rooms. Games rooms really good, but darts couldn’t be used. Lots of games in the main barn, full TV package

The worst thing has got to be without a doubt, the floor on the 1st floor (main area & kitchen) it creaks so badly that for anyone sleeping in the 3 rooms below its sounds like torrential rain in the rooms, no chance you can sleep through it. 1 of the en suite bathrooms shower door was broke & the parts left on the toilet system, & couldn’t get the tap to open in the sink, shower couldn’t be used, reported it to owners, another en suite shower didn’t have a door on it at all. Also some of the seats in the steam room where broke, which you couldn’t see until you were in there & then not very well due to the intense steam which was brilliant, lucky only 3 of us used the steam room. Also having to take away your own recycling, but if that’s the council rules then nothing much you can do about that. The place is lovely, but it looking a bit tired in places, couch need a good clean as do places like round the tap bases & in cupboard etc.

Perfect accommodation and location for a large group. Big enough for everyone to have the space they need. Some wonderful walks nearby.
