Location, being next to the garage caused few problems and your right living right in Hawes. The accomodation layout with the living areas on the top floor and bedrooms on ground floor was excellent. the property has all the requirements for a short mehr anzeigen

Parking provision for cars being right beside the property and not in the street.

The notes on the rubbish bins need updating as the day the bin was empted was Thursday instead of Monday as stated in the notes. This will become more important as I understand England is following Scotland in having mutiple bins for recycling with amehr anzeigen

This will become more important as I understand England is following Scotland in having mutiple bins for recycling with a collection cycle that may not be weekly. The basin in the shower room is partially blocked resuting in the water taking time to run away. Nothing to do with the property but 3 routes out of Hawes were closes due to road works with little infotrmation for tourists who now rely on SatNav systems ! I intend to take this up with North Yorkshire Council but the property owner may wish to raise this matter with the local tourist association

Good instructions for check-in, and easy to access the property. Great location, everything in Hawes right on your doorstep. Two dedicated parking places. Clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, pretty much everything you'd need available and wmehr anzeigen

Decorated Xmas tree was a nice touch for the season. Plenty of space for 2 of us, might have been a bit of a squeeze for 4 adults.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here, this was our 2nd stay at this cottage and we found it a very relaxing place to stay.
The cottage is clean and well furnished and the kitchen has everything need,

Overall I highly recommend this cottage, it's well situated for walks, visiting other places in the area or just enjoying Hawes itself. P.s the fish and chips from the chippy are the best. We'll be back. |
