Everything was really lovely - spacious, comfortable, welcome pack and very well equipped.
Very good meal at the pub next door and really convenient for Kirby Lonsdale with great shops and an amazing bakery.

We loved the property, it’s a quintessential country cottage with all the quirks you would hope for. It has low doorways, steps between rooms, nooks and crannies. But it’s also really well equipped with all the modern facility’s you would need. The imehr anzeigen
We loved the property, it’s a quintessential country cottage with all the quirks you would hope for. It has low doorways, steps between rooms, nooks and crannies. But it’s also really well equipped with all the modern facility’s you would need. The internet was excellent, smart to, etc etc.
We very much enjoyed the Sunday lunch at the Pheasant, and the staff there were really friendly. There is a lovely 30 minute walk from the cottage into Kirkby Lonsdale (we used the Komoot app for guidance). A great part of the country. |

An amazing cottage that we stayed at over the weekend to do the yorkshire 3 peaks. The rooms were clean and specious , kitchen was beautiful and the cottage had amazing views overlooking the landscape. Lots of amenities for a self serviced cottage. I would definitely come back and stay here again!

Ivy Cottage is a great place to stay. It is central to a lot of great walks and attractions. The place itself was private with a great garden and a lovely homely interior. The sofas and beds are incredibly comfortable along with the throws, blankets, pillows and cushions- something often overlooked with a lot of Airbnbs. My only slight criticism would be that fittings such as the shower head in the en suite along with the toilet flusher were about ready to fall off. The socket covers in one of the rooms were already on the floor when we arrived and there was some leftover rubbish, food, wrappers etc which I feel is easy to spot and remove when cleaning before the next guests arrive. However, I would not let that put me off booking again. My family and I had a great time at Ivy Cottage. Highly recommended.
