Even some basic cooking items like oil/salt/pepper would be nice. The hot water is very hot so would be careful if running a bath.

This is a recent renovation of an old flour mill. The location is excellent, on the edge of a very picturesque village, which is only five minutes walk along beautiful stream from the mill. The apartment is large, clean and generally well furnished. bekijk meer

The apartment is large, clean and generally well furnished. The kitchen is large open plan and generally well equipped. It is extremely quiet, partly as a result of the location, but also the metre thick stone walls. Parking is very easy and communication with the management company straightforward. The Wi-Fi is good which is important as phone reception is poor. I’d happily book again.

For example, the apartment is clearly for four people yet there is really only comfortable seating for three which could be an issue for some. Early reviews have pointed to missing frying pans and hairdryers, but I’m pleased to say they are now in place. We weren’t provided with any washing up clothes, sponges,Kitchen roll which was probably an oversight.

Could do with a hair dryer and a teapot.
The master bedroom did not have enough wardrobe space, so we ended up putting our holdalls on the deep window sills.

Great location in a beautiful village. Apartment spotless and comfortable. Ameneties, pubs, places to eat & beautiful walks on your doorstep and so near to the east coast & the moors for other beautiful finds. A few basic amenities I would have expected in a rental not there, so pack your toilet rolls 😉 but company that owns quick to respond and resolve. Would certainly return, but believe prices might be slightly cheaper to book direct with Finest Retreats
