Parking arrangements not ideal, but otherwise not much to find fault with.

The rental is advertised as having a BBQ, however there was NO BBQ when I rented. Very disappointing, it was one of the reasons we decided to rent the Hen Dafarn. Suggest youthe info on the website to remove any reference to a BBQ or provide one for future guests.

The house could do with a deep clean. The microwave, some cutlery, pans and the cooker hood and splashback were dirty. The vacuum cleaner was also full and the tumble dryer full of lint. I can imagine it's not any easy house to clean in between guests with three floors and lots of contents. There's nowhere to store food as all the cupboards are full and some of the things in them are unnecessary. The parking is not good and it might be worth keeping up to date with the terms for parking at Bodlondeb car park as we used this all week (cost about £25 as we had the weekend and a bank holiday to cover). Many houses in the street now have Disabled signs in the window asking you not to park in front of them so this is probably adding to the problem. You need to be aware that the mezzanine bedroom is open to the rest of the house so you can hear noise from both lower floors, maybe best to have the people who go to bed latest up there. The ceilings are low in this room as well so take care when using the blinds and windows or sitting up in bed. It would also be useful to have heating instructions, the thermostat was down really low and no guide for the gas fire so it was a bit chilly until we worked it out. Communication was good and overall the house is lovely and really characterful it was only the cleanliness that brought the score down for me.
