Lovely, cosy cottage. Comfy beds, amd a great couch for lounging. Everything we needed to cook up a nice meal together. Beautiful views over the fields, visited by swans, deer, and pheasants.

Best part was even though it’s a quiet, rural location, it was only a 3 minute drive to the local (delicious) pub - The Bird, 10 minutes from Avalon Marshes Nature reserve, and 15-20 minutes to Glastonbury, Street, or Wedmore. Owner came out to greet us and then left us to our own devices, though I feel confident if we had needed her, she would have been readily available. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering staying in the area. |

The floor slowped and my mother in law trip over because of this. And walls were very thin you could hear everything . It was in the middle of nowhere and never found a shop so take what you need food wise with you. But other then that it was perfectbekijk meer

Rosebud cottage suited the three of us perfectly, it had everything we needed and we loved the outdoor space which was a great way to round off the day. It's position close to many good bird-watching sites was a bonus.

We would have really appreciated having fans in the heat as the cottage was stifling. Perhaps the owner could provide a scratchy sponge for washing up. It would also be nice if the fence could be lowered so we could look onto the field.

A Bread Slicing knife and Dish drainer in the kitchen - but these are minor points as we loved the place and would definitely visit again. A bit difficult to see the entrance when we got back there in the dark, but none of these would stop us visitinbekijk meer

A simple but very pleasant place to stay. It has everything you need as a base camp to strike out from, whether you are venturing to the West coastthe Somerset countryside. The beds are comfortable, there were plenty of fluffy towels provided, a helpful washing line to dry items after a day at the beach and a little outside table to sit at and enjoy the tranquil evenings. It is a cosy place but if you are someone who likes being out all day and just needs somewhere to eat and sleep before the next day's adventure then one should be considered.

Very enjoyable stay, very peaceful yet not too far from local amenities. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating, we had an issue with the car when leaving and they were so so supportive. Will definitely visit again
