Minutes to local beach. Very easy to walk to local restaurants and amenities. Beautiful views of the ocean from the cabin and hut and went to bed with the sound of the waves. We had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

We arrived to freezing winds and storms. It took a little while to get everything warmed up but we were soon cosy and it was lovely to hear the wind whistling and surf crashing when in the super comfy beds. Both house and hut are well equipped, beds bekijk meer

It took a little while to get everything warmed up but we were soon cosy and it was lovely to hear the wind whistling and surf crashing when in the super comfy beds. Both house and hut are well equipped, beds comfy and lovely bathrooms. You can do the coastal walk right from the door and there's a nice 6 mile round trip walk to Bude. We had a problem with a broken extractor fan and the agent and owner could not have responded quicker - lovely to deal with and had everything sorted by the time we got back from a walk. I imagine that it's heaven in summer, but we loved being there in all weathers and will be back for another winter break.

The main cabin is beautiful as well as the shepherds hut. The view from both is absolutely stunning and I would happily boom again just to sit on the decking and watch the sunset. The garden was perfect for our dogs and the gate at the bottom is alsobekijk meer

We had a lovely holiday and will definitely return. It was perfect for access to the coastal path and beach, no need to put the dogs on leads. Large secure garden for the dogs. Lots to do locally, especially if you like walking and swimming/surfing. bekijk meer

Driftwood is an enchanting beach shack in the most remarkable location with uninterrupted views of Widemouth Bay and the wide Atlantic. Photos just won't do the view justice. We were lucky enough to enjoy 2 clear blue-sky days and spectacular sunsets from the decking, and found ourselves often just looking out to sea, watching the waves roll in. We highly recommend Driftwood and we will definitely be returning in the not-too-distant future.

Very close to Bude which is a lovely town to explore. Would definitely recommend this property for the views alone but it’s very cosy inside too.

The cabin was amazing! Breathtaking views of the sea and beach from it's clifftop location. Ideally situated for a short beach walk to lovely cafes, bars and restaurants on the beach, and obviously for the stunning beach at Widemouth Bay itself! The bekijk meer
The cabin was amazing! Breathtaking views of the sea and beach from it's clifftop location. Ideally situated for a short beach walk to lovely cafes, bars and restaurants on the beach, and obviously for the stunning beach at Widemouth Bay itself! The cabin is very cosy and was warm even in bracing October storms. It has everything you'll need and has been kitted out very thoughtfully and sensitively. Outside there is a big decking area and garden with lots of privacy. The garden opens directly on to the South West Coast Path and although there are plenty of walkers they are far enough away from the cabin to still allow for perfect privacy. There is a big property directly next door but the cabin is shielded from it very well. There is also a lovely shepherd's hut as part of the property which although we didn't use, looked great. Lots of great walks direct from the door including to Bude via the Weir and back via the coast path. Can't recommend enough! Thankyou! Dog loved it too!

The cabin has everything you need for a relaxing break and the falling asleep to the sound of the sea was just perfect. The beach was easily accessible and we walked to Bude on the coastal path which was a lovely walk. We met Nigel who was extremely welcoming and friendly. We will definitely rebook. |

However, there were cobwebs and dust in places that would suggest it had not been “deep cleaned” for some time. Whilst that didn’t bother us so much, and appreciate it is right on the coast, for the price, I would would have expected slightly better cleaning standards. Having 2 small dogs, I hoovered every other day but discovered under the sofa, bed and fireplace was extremely dusty. |

Beautiful place ideal location what would have put it into the next level would have been a real fire. But that's not putting it down. Garden was great but unfortunately small dogs found a way out to the front so needed to block areas off. Would definitely go back Thank you

Our stay at Driftwood and the accompanying Shepherds Hut was fantastic. The accommodation was beautiful. Quirky, original and really well appointed. Felt very at home in the spaces that had been created. The views are superb and you can watch the sunset over the cliffs which was great for any budding photographers like myself. Nigel and Sally were our hosts and we couldnt have asked for better. Really friendly and helpful. Anyone staying here would be choosing wisely. We will definitely be back.
