Y Lle Hapus (The Happy Place) is a beautifully furnished three-bedroom apartment overlooking Tenby with distant sea views. The property has the added advantage of a shared, indoor swimming pool and gym which guests can use free of charge during their stay.
Walking inside, the property opens up to an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area which is ideal for families and friends to cook and socialise in. The large balcony doors let the light stream in and the balcony seating area is perfect to enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine from. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the amenities required for a self catering stay and comes with a handy dishwasher and washing machine too.
The three bedrooms comprise two king-sized doubles and a single. (One of the king-sized doubles can be changed to a twin on request). All the bedrooms are well-proportioned and the luxury bed linens, cushions and bed throws make for a peaceful night's sleep. The master bedroom has its own ensuite shower room, while the family bathroom which is located off the hallway has a shower over bath.
The swimming pool, which forms part of the apartment complex, is a fantastic bonus meaning that guests can enjoy a swim year-round, even when the sea is is a bit too chilly! Those guests looking to keep in shape while enjoying their break can use the gym facility which features treadmills, bikes and weights.
Outside, there is private, off-road parking and a shared, grass garden area to the rear.

The downside for us that the pool was out of action when we arrived on Saturday and wasn’t opened until Wednesday. This was a disappointment as one of the main reasons for booking this accommodation.

The property was ideally placed, just a short walk into Tenby. It had all the comforts of home and was equally well equipped. We would definitely stay again as we visit Tenby at least once a year and will be recommending it to friends and family.

Clear information when putting T V on , and getting channels ,how to work hob on the oven, putting saucepan on the ring first to connect not everyone understands I sure didn't!!!! , no hand rail on the bath it would make it easier to get in and out, see more

Free wi-fi and smart TVs in all the rooms were a nice bonus. It's in a good location, just 10 mins walk from the north beach and 15 mins from the town centre, although up a fairly steep hill. There's one reserved parking space, plus a few other visitors' spaces that you can use if you have more than one car. Access to the flat is up some steps from the carpark, which might be a challenge for some. If you're planning to visit Tenby, this is great option. We'd definitely return.

Lovely quiet location but an easy walk to either northsouth beach, and shops and restaurants. Probably the best beaches I’ve ever been to. Nice cosy flat.
Lovely quiet location but an easy walk to either northsouth beach, and shops and restaurants. Probably the best beaches I’ve ever been to. Nice cosy flat.

Family of 4 adults, first time using an Airbnb and was not disappointed. A lovely property, very clean and nicely decorated…really well presented and felt modern yet comfy. Our stay was very enjoyable, the property location is ideal as it’s a 10-15 minute walk down into Tenby town centre but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle of the tourists and had its own allocated parking spot so didn’t have to worry about that! We didn’t get to take advantage of the pool which is in the main house (‘mansion’) in the middle of the complex as it can only be used by guests between 9am and 5pm with slots to be booked in advance (due to covid) and we were out exploring during these times but seemed easy to book had we wished to do so. Property came with towels and a travel hairdryer in the master bedroom. All the amenities needed for a self catering stay (dishwasher, washing machine, iron etc) and a handy stash of cleaning products, bin liners etc so didn’t have to buy our own! There were TVs in all 3 bedrooms as well as a large tv in the living area-took us a little while to figure it but gave access to channels to stream as well as Amazon prime video and Disney+. Thankfully the free WiFi at the flat was good and reliable (unlike in the majority of Tenby/surrounding areas where phone signal/4G is almost non-existent!!!) Booking was easy and communication good with Finest Retreats. we were lucky to get a weeks stay at relatively short notice and the process was smooth. Top tip - if you want to eat out choose early and get booked in. Due to COVID restrictions most places were fully booked well I advance and we struggled to get in places so this limited our choices. Overall, I would highly recommend this property for a stay in Tenby. Really happy with the service and would definitely come back again to this location and use this company.

Phenomenal Airbnb with gorgeous swimming pool. Great giant TV! The kids loved it too! Very well soundproofed, modern furnishing and cosy accommodation. Very close to Tenby. Responsive host and thank you for the wine and shortbread! Fantastic stay.

We had a lovely weeks stay. The flat was clean and comfortable. Having the pool was a bonus especially on the rainy days. Lovely fluffy towels. We will definitely book again 🙂

The apartment was very clean and in a really good location (around 10 minute walk to the town). We did have to purchase our own toilet roll and tea and coffee which was slightly unexpected but there were ample cleaning products for us to use during the stay.

Really lovely property. Beautiful views, comfy beds use of dishwasher and washer dryer which was really handy. Shower is super and the location excellent. Just take your own antibacterial spray to wash surfaces and door handles when you arrive!
