Description
Tregonning Burrows Glamping is home to four beautifully adorned, private luxury glamping pods set within 4 acres of pasture land in the hamlet of Balwest, in West Cornwall. Trewavas glamping pod is beautifully appointed and has the added advantage of being wheelchair accessible with its wide doorways, level access and wet room.
Nestled at the foot of Tregonning Hill, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and part of a World Heritage Site, Trewavas is also overlooked by Godolphin Hill, a very rich archaeological site and part of the Godolphin Estate owned by the National Trust.
The pods are accessible for all, very spacious and beautifully equipped. Each pod has been personally curated, with luxury fabrics and colours inspired by the local historic landscape.
Each pod will have a welcome pack consisting of:
Cornish loose-leaf tea, Cornish coffee, Cornish milk, Cornish rapeseed oil, 6 of our own eggs (subject to availability) and a Cornish Cream Tea (home-baked scones, Cornish jam and clotted cream).
When you’re not sampling the best Cornwall has to offer in food, from the wonderful choice of local restaurants that are within a short drive from your stay, there is a compact, well equipped kitchen with a fridge, 2 ring induction hob, combination oven, Belfast sink and small dining area. Or you could dine al fresco at your own picnic table or on the decking area taking in the views of the hills.
Each pod has a hanging area for clothes and storage underneath the kingsize bed, whilst the sofa also doubles as a comfortable king sized bed.
There is an incredibly spacious wet room with shower, sink and toilet. Outside there is a decked area where you can sit and enjoy the stunning sea and countryside views stretching as far as St. Michael’s Mount, Penzance and St. Ives Bay.
Accessibility: The pods are fully accessible for wheelchairs. The ramp access from your vehicle to the external decked area (1.7 metres) is no more than 1:12 gradient. There is a full wheelchair turning circle in the main living area (except when sofa bed is in use) and also in the large wet room.
There is level access from the decking into the pod and from the main living area to the wet room. Door width is 900mm.
