Description
Whitsand Bay Lodge is a very well equipped 3 bedroom luxury lodge within Whitsand Bay Fort.
Located on the beautiful Rame Peninsula, the property offers far-reaching views across Plymouth Sound. With Freathy Beach less than 100 metres from the lodge, you can walk down the stunning cliff path and be on the sand in minutes. Plenty of other local beaches are also less than a mile away, and Millbrook, Kingsand and Cawsand all within easy reach to explore – you will be spoilt for choice with where to go first!
Within the lodge, there is a spacious bright open plan kitchen, living and dining area which is smartly furnished and has all the home comforts you will want to relax and enjoy your holiday. There is a television with DVD player, comfortable sofas, and a large dining table, perfect for coming together for family meals with a glorious sea view. The modern kitchen area has all the equipment and amenities you’ll need during your stay.
The bedrooms are all beautifully dressed, with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. The master bedroom has a double bed, and contemporary en-suite shower room with toilet and basin. The second bedroom has 2 full size single beds, and the third has twin beds. There is a main family bathroom complete with shower over the bath. Double doors from the living room lead outside to a beautifully finished decking area, with garden furniture and a sun lounger for that all important siesta after a morning at the beach.
The indoor pool is open and available free of charge for guests staying in our lodges. Enjoy one complimentary 1-hour swim session for each night of your stay. Simply pop by Reception to book your preferred time slot.
Other attractions in the local area include Royal William Yard, an historic Grade I listed victualling yard, and National Trust’s Anthony House, which is less than a 15 minute drive away.
There is wi-fi available inside the lodge for up to 10 devices.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay All our needs were met, home from home touch. Spacious, light , comfortable.
Unfortunately for us the only negative was the fact we have mobility issues so the transfer from car to lodge with our belongings wasee more

Wow! This amazing lodge did not disappoint us. It was clean, tidy and fully equipped with everything we needed. It was perfectly situated on the site itself with beautiful views & just minutes away from a beautiful beach too.

The lodge is on a complex with a swimming pool and a gym. We expected to have access to the facilities. However we were informed that we were not entitled to access as it was a private booking. We had no idea and there was an image on booking.com of see more

unable to park close to Lodge, which meant quite a walk with clothes and luggage, there are trolleys available but reception closed when we arrived meant there was no one available to advise us about thiswhere to find them, make sure your clothes etcsee more

Some lamps would have been good. The pool was being decorated so it was completely out of action a great shame. A recycling box would have been a good addition & notes re check out. We thought it was a bit expensive.
