Also located on the ground floor is the bathroom, complete with a bath and shower over, WC, and wash basin.
Upstairs, the cottage features a pretty bedroom sleeping two guests, providing a comfortable space to unwind after a day exploring the local area.
Outside, guests and their dogs can enjoy a lovely private garden area, ideal for al fresco dining, morning coffee, or simply soaking up the peaceful countryside surroundings. Guests also share large grounds, a dog walking field, and well-tended communal gardens.
Situated in the peaceful hamlet of Greendown near Axminster, Woodpecker is perfectly located for exploring the beautiful Jurassic Coast, scenic countryside walks, charming market towns, and a variety of local attractions, independent shops, and welcoming pubs. All fuel is metered and visitors are charged at cost. The meters are read shortly before arrival and the readings are entered on a form left for you in the cottage. Guests are kindly asked to fill in the final readings and settle the balance before departure.
