Poppy Cottage offers a charming countryside escape on the outskirts of Aylesbeare, Devon. Nestled within a small collection of six lovely cottages, it benefits from a spacious communal car park and provides an inviting haven for families or groups of friends looking to unwind in peaceful rural surroundings.
Inside, an open-plan living area with underfloor heating and exposed beams welcomes you in. After a day exploring, settle on the seating to watch the Smart TV or gather at the dining table for six. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and coffee maker, giving you everything needed for a self-catering stay. A cloakroom with a basin and WC completes the ground floor.
For extra entertainment, a shared external games room with a snooker table and table football is available to enjoy.
Upstairs, Poppy Cottage offers two bedrooms. The first is a double room with an en-suite bathroom featuring a bath with a shower over. The second is an adult sized triple bunk room, ideal for children or a small family, with a double bed below and a single above. This room is served by a separate shower room with a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, basin and WC.
Outside, the enclosed rear patio provides a private outdoor area with furniture and a barbecue, making it a good spot for alfresco dining or simply spending time in the fresh air.
