You'll be enveloped by the serene beauty of the surrounding woodland as you park your car and stroll past the babbling stream. The property, believed to be the former stables of the neighbouring Old Chapel, hosts three bedrooms and two bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to four guests.
Inside, discover a harmonious blend of rustic charm and modern convenience. The open-plan lounge, kitchen, and diner welcome you with exposed beams and thoughtful touches throughout. Whip up delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen and gather around the dining table for a leisurely meal or unwind by the wood burner. The ground floor boasts a lovely king-size bedroom with an en suite shower room, where French doors lead out to the enclosed garden. Upstairs, two single bedrooms are designed with comfort in mind for a restful night's sleep.
Outside, there is plenty of space to relax and embrace the views. Enjoy al fresco dining on the patio area with a table, chairs, and BBQ, sit by the stream, or help yourself to seasonal produce from the garden. The enclosed garden is mostly laid to lawn, surrounded by the open garden and woodland, offering a great spot to watch the stars. If you are bringing your bikes, there is room in the garden shed to store them. Additionally, off-road parking is available at the property for two cars.
Close to Coed Y Brenin Mountain forest park, the valleys of rivers Mawddach, Eden, Gain, and Wen, and the National Trust site in Ganllwyd, the area offers the finest mountain biking in the UK, with waymarked trails for both cycling and walking, past rivers, gorges, and waterfalls. Visitors can also enjoy fishing at Trawfynnedd, while adrenaline seekers can head to Go Ape High Wires, Zip World Slate Caverns, and the National White-Water Rafting Centre, all close by. We had a fantastic stay. Hermon Bach offers a sublime retreat surrounded by stunning hillside and woodlands accessed up a single track lane. The home is incredibly characterful and cosy with everything you could need provided for your stay. The rooms are beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and retain all their original character whilst offering reliable and convenient modern devices and facilities. We particularly loved the deep bath, hot shower and comfy beds! We were also especially touched by the hugely generous and thoughtful welcome pack of foods and drinks awaiting us on arrival. The check-in and check-out via lockbox was seamless and communication and access to information was clear and comprehensive throughout. I recommend Hermon Bach without reservation and would be delighted to stay again!

Perfectly nestled in the middle of Coed-y-Brenin. Stunning scenery, peaceful and lots of stunning walks either from the doora few minutes journey. We even added a day to our trip and the host was very responsive and accommodating.

This is one of the best holiday homes we have ever stayed in. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed to make this a perfect stay. The location was amazing, so peaceful and so many beautiful walks just a short stroll from the front doorsee more

The location was amazing, so peaceful and so many beautiful walks just a short stroll from the front door. We had a short mid week break and took our laptops to work, and the wifi was spot on, better than at home. Cant recommend highly enough. We'll be back.

We absolutely love our stay in this cottage, eventhough there are neighbours the place felt extremely private, quiet and it was very warm. It was a great place to welcome the new year. Lots of beautiful surroundings.
