Description
Escape to the tranquil village of Ewerby and discover The Asparagus Shed, a charming single-storey holiday home ideal for couples seeking relaxation and a taste of rural Lincolnshire. Once used for washing and grading asparagus on a working farm, this beautifully converted farm building now offers comfort and character in a lovely village setting.
Step inside to the open-plan living space that features a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, kettle and toaster—everything you need for a comfortable stay. Enjoy relaxed meals at the dining table before unwinding in the living area, complete with Smart TV and WiFi for your entertainment.
The inviting king-size bedroom promises a restful night’s sleep, while the stylish shower room boasts a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, basin and WC.
Outside, a courtyard garden offers a lovely spot to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening sunshine. Off-road parking for two cars adds to the convenience, and one small, well-behaved dog is welcomed.
Situated on a quiet lane with stunning views toward the impressive 13th-century church, The Asparagus Shed sits in a perfect location for lovers of the outdoors, with several country walks available directly from your doorstep. The friendly village pub, The Finch Hatton Arms, is just a short stroll away. A brief drive brings you to nearby Heckington, where you can pick up essentials at the Co-Op, enjoy a hearty pub lunch at the Royal Oak, or sample local brews at the 8 Sail Brewery beside the historic Heckington Windmill.
If you’re planning a day out, the vibrant city of Lincoln is easily accessible by car. Explore architectural treasures such as Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle (home to Magna Carta), delve into history at the International Bomber Command Centre, or enjoy the gardens and shops at Doddington Hall.

Had everything you could need, was spotless and even a little welcome pack! The location is good and easy to find, parking was handy and I felt safe staying there on my own. Will definitely book again when I’m up in the area.

The kitchen had plenty of utensils etc and a Nespresso machine. We slept brilliantly, lovely pillows and a quality mattress. The towels were soft and we were able to heat them on a towel rail. The decor was luxurious and the treats for us and our dog were an extra bonus. The outside garden is all patio with some delightful shrubs and seating , it’s fully secure for dogs. Ewerby is a very peaceful hamlet with a great pub, serving good food , literally 2 minutes walk away. There are plenty of public footpaths from the door and a beautiful church across the road, we would definitely go back and I would highly recommend the Asparagus Shed, if you like peace and quiet and the getaway from it all experience.

The location is quiet and peaceful, with the added bonus of a pub 200m away. The Asparagus shed itself is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Everything that you need for a relaxing break. There are plenty of places to visit in the local area and see more

There are plenty of places to visit in the local area and Lincoln is only 40 minutes away. We had the added bonus of seeing the Red Arrows practicing while we were driving to Lincoln. Spectacular!
