Upstairs, beneath the characterful sloping ceilings, you’ll find two beautifully appointed bedrooms — a king-size and a welcoming twin — both enjoying spectacular views stretching across the castle, the town, the coastline and the distant Cambrian Mountains. Step out onto the balcony with your morning coffee as the sun rises over the landscape, while children relax in the cosy reading nook with a good book. Downstairs, two further bedrooms — another king and a twin — echo the property’s Victorian elegance, offering bright and restful spaces for every member of the group.

The heart of the home is the stylish ground-floor kitchen/diner, fully equipped for preparing everything from leisurely breakfasts to hearty post-walk suppers. For more formal occasions, gather in the impressive dining room where everyone can sit together, linger over delicious meals, or enjoy an evening of board games and laughter.

As night falls, the inviting sitting room becomes the perfect place to unwind, the wood-burning stove casting a warm glow as plans are made for the next day’s adventure. For quieter moments, retreat to the snug — complete with its own wood-burning stove and pull-down projector screen — ideal for film nights or simply losing yourself in a favourite novel.

Outside, the generous garden provides ample space for children to play and adults to relax. Dine alfresco with a barbecue or picnic, all while enjoying the extraordinary silhouette of the castle as your backdrop — a setting that truly elevates every occasion.

Adventure awaits on your doorstep. Conquer Ffordd Pen Llech, once recognised by Guinness World Records as the steepest street in the world, explore the dunes and wildlife at Morfa Harlech National Nature Reserve, or spend carefree days on the golden sands of Harlech Beach. Venture further into Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) for dramatic peaks and panoramic views, or visit the enchanting Italianate village of Portmeirion, famed for its colourful architecture, historic cottages and award-winning restaurants.
