Description
Lower Church Barn is a charming coastal cottage in the peaceful village of Llanmadoc, with beautiful sea views and a welcoming feel. Set in a lovely corner of the Gower Peninsula, it makes a wonderful base for families looking to explore the surrounding beaches, countryside and coastline.
On the ground floor, the cottage has a bright kitchen diner with everything you need for relaxed meals together, while the adjoining living room provides a comfortable space to unwind, complete with a feature fireplace and views towards the sea. Just across from the kitchen diner is the children’s playroom, with a bunk bed and plenty of space for younger guests to play and relax during their stay.
Upstairs in the main cottage, the master bedroom offers a peaceful place to wake up and take in the coastal surroundings. The bathroom is also located upstairs, along with a small workspace on the landing, providing a handy spot for anyone who needs to catch up on a little work while away.
Outside, guests can enjoy the garden and take in the peaceful setting and sea views. There is also private parking and free WiFi, making Lower Church Barn a comfortable and convenient base for a coastal break.
Llanmadoc is ideally placed for exploring some of the Gower’s most beautiful beaches. Broughton Bay is around a 20-minute walk from the cottage, while the surrounding coastline offers plenty of opportunities for walks, beach days and enjoying the scenery of the Gower.
Further afield, there is plenty to discover, including the spectacular Rhossili Bay and Worm’s Head, around 9 miles away, and Oxwich Bay, around 9 miles from the cottage. Swansea is also within easy reach for days out, with Swansea Marina and the city centre offering a range of shops, restaurants and attractions. For wildlife and nature lovers, WWT Llanelli is around 15 miles away, while the Grand Theatre provides an option for an evening out.
