Description
Welcome to Nicely Tucked Away Cottage, a beautifully decorated and well-appointed two bedroomed home situated in the desirable location of Millbrook village. As the name suggests, this property is in a tucked away spot but only stones throw from the centre of Millbrook village, with excellent local stores for all your everyday essentials.
The cottage lies in the historic grounds of the original Manor House of the village, surrounded within the authentic stone walls of the period. Step inside, into a large open plan living area, with opulent red chesterfield sofas, large smart TV, arcade games, pool table and Wi-Fi included during your stay. Enjoy a fully fitted kitchen with use of a washing machine and dishwasher ideal for a self-catering stay.
With two bedrooms which can accommodate up to four guests, the large super king master bedroom with walk-in dressing/wardrobe area overlooks the gardens. The second bedroom, a twin room with two full size single beds, (includes a bed guard which can be used for younger visitors).
Head outside from the conservatory into the walled garden. On a sunny evening you can light up the BBQ for evening dining, or seasonally pick yourself an apple from the crab apple tree!
The Rame Head Peninsula is Cornwall’s secret forgotten corner and is an area of outstanding natural beauty and an area of special scientific interest. The coastal walks and views on this peninsula are second to none. There is so much to do and see here. Visit the twin pretty villages of Cawsand and Kingsand, walk to Penlee Point and Rame Head, with its 11th century monks' chapel and enjoy stunning views to the glorious sandy beaches of Whitsand Bay. The well-known ancient fishing villages of Looe and Polperro are only a few miles away by car. All in all, a great spot to explore for all ages!
Secure off road parking with complimentary EV charging point for 1 vehicle included. For more information and bookings please contact Finest Retreats.

I grew up holidaying in the area in the 70s & 80s.

I grew up holidaying in the area in the 70s & 80s. Though we were there for work it is ideally located to explore this part of SE Cornwall and beyond

It was very warm and comfortable. We appreciated the large welcome basket. The cottage was very clean, the rooms spacious and the beds very comfortable. We enjoy walking and it was well situated for this, the coastal footpath at Cawsand is less than see more
It was very warm and comfortable. We appreciated the large welcome basket. The cottage was very clean, the rooms spacious and the beds very comfortable. We enjoy walking and it was well situated for this, the coastal footpath at Cawsand is less than 2 miles away. The Rame Peninsula is beautiful, lovely sea views all around. The weather wasn't very good during our stay but we were always glad to come back after a long walk to a nice warm house. We would have no hesitation recommending it to friends.

We had such a great time here that we extended our stay by a week. Would happily recommend this place and hopefully we’ll be back again sometime in the not too distant future
