Set in the picturesque Wiltshire village of Seend and just a two-minute walk from the Kennet & Avon Canal, this bright and contemporary farmhouse provides a wonderful countryside base within easy reach of Devizes, Caen Hill Locks, Lacock, Avebury, Stonehenge, Longleat and Bath.

Recently renovated throughout, the house feels wonderfully bright and spacious. A striking run of windows stretches along one side of the property, filling the interiors with natural light and opening up views across the surrounding countryside.

At the heart of the house is the large, fully equipped family kitchen, with ample workspace for preparing everything from quick breakfasts to leisurely Sunday lunches. A separate utility room provides useful additional space, while a ground-floor bathroom adds extra convenience for larger families.

When it is time to eat together, the spacious dining room has room for the whole group around the table – perfect for family breakfasts and celebratory. In the evenings, retreat to the comfortable lounge and settle in around the wood-burning stove. It's a cosy contrast to the property's bright, open spaces and a welcoming spot for family film nights, board games or a glass of wine after a day exploring Wiltshire.

The Farmhouse sleeps eight across four comfortable bedrooms. Each bedroom features a king-size zip-and-link bed, which can be arranged as either a king or twin beds, giving families and groups plenty of flexibility when deciding who sleeps where.

With three additional bathrooms, busy mornings are made that little bit easier. The bathrooms offer a useful combination of a shower, a bath and a bath with overhead shower – particularly handy for families travelling with younger children.

The Farmhouse's location makes it an excellent base for getting out and discovering Wiltshire. The Kennet & Avon Canal is just a two-minute walk away, ideal for waterside strolls and relaxed family walks. Further afield, days out can take in Devizes and the impressive Caen Hill Locks, the historic village of Lacock and Lacock Abbey, ancient Avebury and Stonehenge, or a family adventure at Longleat Safari Park. The beautiful city of Bath is also within reach for a day of sightseeing.
