Welcome to The BIG BARN, which combines two other holiday accommodations, The Piggery and The Coach House for one fabulously large barn space for up to 8 people. In total The Big Barn offers 4 bedrooms sleeping 8 across 3 x king size bedrooms and 1 x twin bedroom.
Made up of the two accommodations, The Piggery and the Coach House which form part of the same building but are separated by soundproofed interconnecting fire doors that can be opened up for guests to enjoy a joint living area or kept closed for those requiring space from the larger group. Perfect for Granny and Grandad, the young couple with a baby, teens or separate couples to have their own living accommodation yet still feel part of the wider group. The very best of both worlds!
Guests can enjoy two modern kitchens will amenities needed to cook up a storm during your stay! The barns offers a unique outdoor kitchen for the ultimate socialising space. With its BBQ and pizza oven, not to mention lounge area and dining beneath a stunning pergola, it’s the perfect place to mix food, fire, family and friends. Enjoy enchanted evenings dining al fresco on the terrace which forms part of your enclosed dog-friendly garden area or simply enjoy a sundowner overlooking the views which are one of the most commented on aspects by guests staying at Mount Pleasant Barns.
Nestled above the historic 16th Century hamlet and private estate of Walton, The Shooting Lodge (sleeps two), The Coach House (sleeps 4-6) and The Piggery (sleeps two) represents the ultimate in country retreats. All can be booked together under The Big Barn for larger groups up to 10.
This property is located in the Golden Triangle where the joys of honey coloured Cotswolds villages, historic Warwick and Shakespeare’s Stratford are all within arm’s reach of each other. Cotswolds towns such as Chipping Campden, Stow and Moreton in Marsh are all on your doorstep. The historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon, world-famous as the birthplace of Shakespeare and home of the Royal Shakespeare Company is only a 15 minute drive away, and is not to be missed. A similar distance away is the town of Warwick, brimming with parks, gardens and fascinating architecture, although most well-known for its incredible huge medieval castle.

I cannot recommend these beautiful barns highly enough. The interiors are designed with thought & care in such a peaceful location and far stretching views, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine on the patio, the owners are just lovely with great knowledge of the local area and best of all completely dog- friendly! We particularly loved our visits from Lottie & Bertie �� It was the perfect place for our first staycation as a family and cannot wait to return soon! |

WOW! Absolutely stunning, the interior and layout of the Coach House/Piggery is fantastic We stayed
with family over Christmas in the Big Barn. Julia and Anthony had thought of everything and we were
able to cook a family Christmas lunch with ease ansee more

Julia and Anthony had thought of everything and we were able to cook a family Christmas lunch with ease and without worry, both were extremely accommodating , so much so that our Christmas food order arrived earlier than anticipated which Anthony promptly unpacked into the fridge for us. The fabulous welcome hamper was also a lovely touch. We needed a little bit of help with the hot tub but Anthony quickly showed us how to get it going and that along with the pizza oven and BBQ was a fabulous Christmas Eve treat! The furnishings are beautiful and the property and surroundings are beautifully kept. Not only were we sad to leave but our little Cockapoo was also sad to leave little Bertie behind too! Can't wait to come again in the summer. Thank you both for a fabulous Christmas getaway. |

What a wonderful week we had at The Big Barn! The location and setting is just perfect and tranquil.
The barns are tastefully decorated and what an amazing welcome hamper. My whole family enjoyed
their holiday and our dogs loved running around and cesee more

We cannot thank Anthony and Julia enough for their hospitality, they certainly went out their way to make us feel so welcome. Don't forget the amazing braai (South African version for a BBQ) and the hot tub. Had a few visits to the local butcher... We will certainly be back. |
