Ruby House offers the opportunity to enjoy flexible and generous accommodation in one classic period Bath stone building, making the ultimate luxury escape for your city stay or family get-together.

A real hidden gem just outside of the city centre, this ideally placed for exploring the beautiful city of Bath, famous for its Georgian architecture and surviving Roman Baths.

Comprising of three individual apartments, all with their own entrances, kitchens and living spaces, Ruby House is arranged as follows:

Ruby Loft is the first floor apartment, offering 2 king-size bedrooms, one being en-suite, and one child's bedroom with bunk beds. Entering through a large glass entrance porch, there is a flight of stairs up to the central hall.
A huge bay window invites you through into the open plan kitchen, living and dining space, a wonderfully bright and stylish double aspect room.
There are two large comfortable sofas, complete with plush cushions. The flat screen TV has smart capability, so you can log-on to all your favourite platforms for movies and on demand TV.
The rustic chic dining table seats 4 comfortably, with space for extra chairs or a highchair where needed.
The kitchen is very well-equipped, providing everything you will need to create your favourite cuisine, or that all important family breakfast for a great start to your day. There is a full oven and hob, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and toaster.
There is also a washing machine should it be needed.
All three bedrooms are dressed immaculately, with beautiful décor and plenty of storage, and the children's room also includes games to keep them entertained.
The main bathroom offers a bath with shower over, basin and close-coupled WC.

Ruby Villa is the ground floor apartment, also offering 2 king-size bedrooms, and one child's bedroom with bunk beds. Entry is via the main front door of the building, and through the porch there is a spacious and welcoming entrance hall with beautiful feature stained glass windows. Another lovely bay window invites you into the double aspect kitchen, living and dining space. With views out over greenery behind the house, this is perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the delights of the city.
There is a large comfortable sofa and extra-large armchair, and this TV also has smart capability, so you can log-on to all your favourite shows.
The dining table seats 4, and there is space for extra chairs where needed.
The kitchen has a full oven and hob, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and toaster. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer in a separate utility cupboard off the porch.
The master bedroom has another huge bay window, and both this and the second bedroom have king-size beds, with the third having a full size bunk bed offering two singles.
The family bathroom is partially tiled, having a bath, separate shower enclosure, basin and close-coupled WC.

Ruby Retreat is the lower apartment at the rear of the building, entered through a veranda, an excellent space for leaving pushchairs, coats and boots. This leads through to an open plan kitchen, living and dining space, with a wonderful homely feel. In the kitchen, there is a full oven and hob, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and toaster.
There is a smart dining table to comfortably seat four people, with space for extra chairs where needed, and a highchair available for small children if necessary. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer in the veranda for convenience.
In the living room, there is a large comfortable sofa and extra-large armchair, complete with plush cushions. The flat screen TV has smart capability, so you can log-on to all your favourite platforms for movies and on demand TV.
There are 2 double bedrooms, both airy and bright, and a third bedroom with a single bed, ideal as a children's room. The family bathroom is modern and tiled, having a bath and shower over, basin and close-coupled WC.

Outdoors, Ruby Loft apartment benefits from a patio area off the entrance porch with table and chairs to sit and enjoy some evening air, and Ruby Retreat has a decked area just off the entrance veranda.

At the back of the house, there is also easy access to a footpath leading directly into town, meaning the city centre is only a 15 minute walk away.

For those who love to cycle, Sustrans cycle trails offer multiple routes completely away from roads for 5 miles from Bath to Wellow. Furthermore, there is the infamous two tunnels cycle path, which takes the rider through mile-long tunnels and on routes past aqueducts and viaducts.

Bath and the surrounding area offer an incredible range of attractions to visit, from the world-famous old Roman Baths and Pump Rooms where you can sample the spring waters – right through to the modern day Thermae Spa, where you can bathe in the open air roof-top pool, and experience the sensory steam rooms with different aromas.

There are various traditional tea-rooms, perhaps the most famous being Sally Lunn’s, where you can try the old-fashioned ‘Bath buns’ an afternoon tea favourite which is unique to the city.

Not to be missed is Royal Crescent, on the edge of Royal Victoria Park, Bath’s most famous street and a stunning example of Georgian architecture.

To admire the city from afar, there is National Trust Bath Skyline walk, taking in the views over the city from multiple perimeter hilltop vantage points.

There is no allocated parking but there is on street public parking available on a first come first served basis, with no charge.

Access Info:
Ruby Loft is located on first floor level, access is in through a large porch, with space to store a pushchair or wheelchair, with front door then leading up one flight of stairs to all rooms on first floor.
Ruby Villa is on ground floor level, with 2 steps up to the front door. Once inside, all rooms are on the level.
Ruby Retreat is accessed down a set of reasonably steep outdoor steps, and across a small area of decking. Internally, it is on the level. There is a tiered rockery garden.

Booking Terms:
-High chair and travel cot are available in each on request.

-We reserve the right to cancel the booking, without refund, if the guest information is incorrect and we believe the number of occupants of the properties is above the maximum occupancy
