Description
Escape to Heather View Chapel, a beautifully converted former chapel set within the breathtaking Peak District National Park. This unique holiday home provides the perfect retreat for couples, families and friends looking to relax, recharge and explore one of England's most spectacular landscapes.
On the ground floor, the chapel opens into a bright and welcoming open-plan living space designed for spending quality time together. The well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, large fridge with freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, cafetière, kettle and toaster, making self-catering easy throughout your stay. Gather around the dining table for leisurely breakfasts before heading out to explore, then return to unwind in the comfortable living area after a day in the countryside. A convenient cloakroom on the ground floor adds to the practicality of the space.
Upstairs, you'll find two thoughtfully furnished bedrooms, sleeping up to four guests. The spacious king bedroom offers a peaceful place to relax, while the twin room with two single beds is ideal for children, friends or additional family members. The contemporary bathroom features a walk-in shower, WC and wash basin, providing everything you need to refresh after a day of walking or sightseeing.
Outside, enjoy your own private patio area where you can savour a morning coffee or an evening drink while taking in the peaceful surroundings. Private driveway parking is available for two cars, and an EV charging point offers added convenience for electric vehicle owners.
Heather View Chapel is perfectly positioned for discovering the very best of the Peak District. Whether you're seeking outdoor adventure or a slower pace of life, there's something for everyone nearby.
For those wishing to venture further afield, the Peak District offers an abundance of attractions within easy driving distance. Explore the magnificent Chatsworth House and its stunning gardens, wander through the historic spa town of Buxton, discover the beauty of Bakewell—home of the famous Bakewell Pudding—or visit the dramatic limestone valley of Dovedale. Families can enjoy attractions such as Gulliver's Kingdom and Heights of Abraham, while keen walkers can tick off iconic locations including Mam Tor, Stanage Edge and Kinder Scout. Whatever your interests, Heather View Chapel provides an ideal base from which to experience the very best of the Peak District.

We (family of four) had a lovely four night stay at Heather View Chapel. The home is stunning - so beautifully restored, but keeping all of the charm of the old building. There is everything you need there - we cooked lots of nice meals, and all of the essentials that Simon left out came in very handy. We loved all of the games, and even managed to complete a massive puzzle. I couldn't recommend it more highly. Also very handy for loads of great walks (Kinder Scout, Mam Tor) - all within a short drive.

The converted chapel is exceptionally well renovated — beautifully done, full of character, and finished to a really high standard while still retaining its original charm. It’s a truly unique place to stay and felt special from the moment we arrived. The accommodation itself was fantastic, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and very well equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. The location is perfect for exploring the Peak District, with stunning scenery right on the doorstep. Simon was a great host and provided clear and concise instructions, making check-in and the whole stay completely hassle-free. We had a fab time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to others and would absolutely love to return in the future.

As soon as me and partner walked into the property we got the wow factor. The little touches Simon provided was really nice. The kitchen had everything you needed and it was nice and cosy with the fire on. Definitely recommend to others.
