Welcome to The Woodshed, a converted former timber store to Buckland Mill. This property offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by pasture and woodland.

The entrance leads into an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, designed for relaxed and practical living. The sitting area has comfortable seating and a wood-burning stove, while the dining space sits alongside the modern, well-equipped kitchen, framed by an exposed stone wall. Underfloor heating runs throughout the ground floor, and there is also a downstairs cloakroom, accessed via a tiled hallway that provides useful space for coats, boots and outdoor gear.

Upstairs, the property has two bedrooms: one double and one super king-size. Both are served by modern en-suite shower rooms, offering comfort and privacy for guests. The staircase leading to the first floor features beech and copper detailing, with timber sourced from the surrounding woodland.

Parking is available directly to the front of the barn. Guests are welcome to explore the wider 25 acres of pasture and woodland, which are shared with the owners when they are in residence, while the small lawn area immediately behind the barn is for guests’ private use.

The Woodshed is approximately 7 miles from Great Torrington, 14 miles from the port town of Bideford, and around 20 miles from Bude on the North Cornwall coast. The surrounding area offers access to Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks, as well as coastal towns and villages such as Lynton and Lynmouth, Ilfracombe, Clovelly and Tintagel. There is a wide choice of beaches nearby, including Saunton, Woolacombe, Croyde and Westward Ho!, along with walking and cycling routes such as the Tarka Trail and the South West Coast Path.
