Firethorn is an impressive home set in a highly sought-after location, just a short walk from Bude’s award-winning beaches. From the moment you step inside, the attention to detail is unmistakable. At the front of the house, there’s a versatile ground-floor bedroom that can be arranged as either a twin or an indulgent super-king, thanks to the zip-and-link mattress. This bedroom also benefits from its own modern ensuite shower room.

A few steps down leads you to the spacious open-plan living area, designed for both comfort and style. The fully fitted kitchen is a dream for any cooking enthusiast, with striking marble worktops and exposed wooden apex beams overhead. The central island, with three wooden stools, offers the perfect spot for breakfast or coffee. Next to the kitchen is a laundry room fitted with a washing machine and dryer. For added convenience, there is a separate downstairs WC.

The dining area features a generous wooden table with six stylish wishbone chairs, positioned beside wide bi-folding doors that create a seamless indoor-outdoor experience and flood the space with natural light. The living space combines elegance with comfort, offering a contemporary log burner, a wall-mounted TV, a plush SNUG corner sofa, and two relaxed armchairs, ensuring there’s room for everyone to unwind.

There’s one bedroom on the ground floor at the front of the house, which can be conveniently set up as a twin or a super-king size, thanks to the zip ‘n’ link mattress. It also features its own ensuite with a shower. Please let us know how you would like the beds to be made up.

Upstairs, the sense of luxury continues with two beautifully appointed bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master bedroom features a modern ensuite with a double walk-in shower, spacious built-in wardrobes, and a sumptuously comfortable king-size bed. The second bedroom is designed as a charming twin room for children, complete with bookshelves, a cosy beanbag, and ample storage. The family bathroom is finished to a high standard, featuring a luxurious freestanding double-ended bathtub and a separate walk-in shower.

Outside, the rear garden offers a well-maintained lawn, a private hot tub, a large rattan furniture set, a heated outdoor shower, and a charcoal BBQ — perfect for enjoying outdoor dining and evening relaxation. At the front of the property, there’s a generous private driveway with space for three vehicles, along with an EV charger available at an additional charge.

Bude is a charming seaside town on Cornwall’s rugged north coast, renowned for its golden beaches, dramatic cliffs, and laid-back atmosphere. Popular with surfers, walkers, and families alike, Bude offers a blend of outdoor adventure and traditional coastal charm. With award-winning beaches only a maximum 15 minute walk , scenic coastal paths, and independent shops and cafés, it’s the perfect destination for a relaxing yet active getaway.
