Perfect for our group of 8 (including a small child and a baby). The house was clean and had great amenities. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is far from a 5 minute walk into the town/harbour and it was a bit annoying not getting the full address until 48 hrs before we couldn’t get a Tesco delivery slot. Otherwise, a really lovely getaway. Thanks

Homely, dog friendly, fully equipped kitchen, stunning bathroom, village location with a great dog friendly pub yet under 2 miles away from Supermarkets and the coast. Lands End, Minnack Theatre, St Ives under 10 miles away.

The house itself was great, it is beautifully decorated, very clean and very modern. Rooms are spacious and the outdoor space was great too. Only downside was that the property was listed as a 5 minute walk from Ilfracombe town and harbour but it was more like a 25 minute walk downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back. We had young children and an adult with reduced mobility so this was a bit difficult. We booked it thinking it was a 5 minute walk so we were a bit disappointed, just something to be aware of. There is lots of paid parking in the town/ harbour so if you’re happy to drive it is fine. The house itself was great though, plenty of space and all amenities. I would reccomend the house itself, we had a great stay!

This is an amazing place. So much thought and detail in every little corner. My family and I had a wonderful stay and wished we could have stayed longer. I would highly recommend to anyone that’s wanting to get way from it all. Kids really enjoyed as well. Hope to return again one day. Wish we could have stayed a week.

Whoever refurbished the cottage did an amazing job. The fire in the living room is awesome and warms the house beautifully. Logs are available at the local Homebase. Overall, it's just about perfect.

The garden is amazing for exploring and the property has been beautifully renovated. It was also one of the cleanest houses we have stayed in, whilst the welcome pack was hugely appreciated - thank you for an amazing stay and we hope to come back!

Absolutely loved the place. Everything is very well thought through. Great facilities, lots of cooking utensils. Felt like home. Fireplace (and logs) add so much charm to the property. Everything is very clean and new. Great for family stay. Definitely recommend.

Sandra and Alan were fantastic hosts, very communicative and attentive. They have a beautiful apartment with everything you would need for a getaway. The town has restaurants and a convenience store so it’s perfect for a getaway with amenities, then the surrounding countryside is very picturesque with lots of walks to do- it’s also very close to Chester and Liverpool for day trips. Would definitely recommend!!

The house was as described on the website, very clean with a lot of space for 2 people and all amenities you need for self catering. Holt is very conveniently located for walking and cycling, has good local shops and the area is well worth a visit. The hosts were friendly and we felt well looked after. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and can certainly recommend the accommodation.

We knew this property would be right for us as we had stayed before. Despite the endless rain (which the owners apologised for!) We were comfortable and cosy and would recommend the accommodation which is perfect for two.

Situated in the centre of a lovely quaint village which has lovely coffee shops, pubs, restaurants, a great garden centre and walks, my husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks whilst our cottage was being renovated, it was bliss!

The apartment was very clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed and the owners Sandra and Alan, who lived nearby were there at hand if we needed anything.

The owners were very helpful and informative, the village had all you could need with two pubs, a bistro, a mini supermarket, a chinese takeaway, an Indian restuarant a hairdressers and a spa. The cottage surpassed expectations in every way. Would highly recommend the cottage in every way.
