The heating. We could not adjust the heating. We were quite cold in the house. I realise it was exceptionally cold, with ice outside. But the heating needs to be looked at. It seemed to cut out at odd times. Times which were the coldest.

We can recommend the accomodation and would come back any time. We were on a family holiday and Kendal as well as the house itself were a perfect location, especially with two teenagers who did not want to join their parents for long hike tours up to the different fells. The house was cosy and the beds were very comfortable. The equipment of the house was of high quality. We appreciated the environmentally friendly approach.
