The accommodation comprises five king-size bedrooms, five double bedrooms plus four childrens single extra beds (by prior request) for flexible family sleeping arrangements. Selected bedrooms feature chromotherapy lighting to encourage restful sleep, premium hybrid mattresses and luxury linens provide exceptional comfort.
At the heart of the retreat lies an impressive private banqueting hall/meeting room, creating the perfect setting for memorable celebrations, family feasts or private chef experiences. Two fully equipped kitchens are well equipped for larger groups, with a Rangemaster range cooker, double ovens, American-style fridge freezers, dishwashers and BIBO filtered water system. Additional dining areas provide quieter spaces for smaller gatherings, while the enclosed courtyard gardens invite guests to dine alfresco, enjoy evening barbeques or drinks around the firepit.
There's something for every member of the group. Experience movie nights in the private 4K cinema with its impressive 12-foot Carrada screen and immersive 7.1 surround sound, challenge friends to pool, air hockey or foosball, or head to the vaulted cellar bar for cocktails and conversation. Fast, Starlink internet runs throughout the retreat, making it easy to stay connected whether you're streaming on the big screen or working remotely.
Despite its central village location, The Painswick Retreat enjoys two beautifully enclosed courtyard gardens. The private hydrotherapy hot tub sits within its own sheltered courtyard. Private parking for up to five vehicles makes arriving with larger groups both convenient and stress-free.

- Dogs are welcome in the Tranquility accommodation only. To help maintain a clean and relaxing environment for all guests using the spa and wellness facilities, dogs are not permitted in any other areas of the complex.
- The property comfortably accommodates up to 20 adult guests. A maximum occupancy of 24 guests is permitted where the additional beds are required for children. Please let us know at the time of booking if your party includes children who will require the additional beds.
- The security deposit may be partially or fully forfeited in the event of a breach of the house rules. This includes, but is not limited to, excessive noise, noise complaints from neighbours, unauthorised parties or events, damage to the property, or any other breach of the booking terms.

We spent an incredible 3-day weekend at the Retreat in Painswick.
Sue and Tim are extremely accommodating and will make the trip perfect, from having thought through all the details of the house, to having everything like at home, to sharing recommendations and being extremely responsive before and during your time there. This definitely was a highlight The photographs and videos on the website are beautiful, but they still don’t quite prepare you for how peaceful and serene the Retreat feels in person. There is a real sense of calm about the building and their surroundings that is difficult to capture on camera, and despite being a large group we found there was plenty of space to spend time together as well as quieter areas to retreat to. The owners do operate a very clear and quite strict noise policy, particularly later in the evening and around the outside areas. Having spent time in Painswick, though, it is completely understandable – it is a small, peaceful and intimate Cotswold village, and the Retreat is clearly intended to fit respectfully into that setting. It certainly didn’t stop us enjoying ourselves it simply means guests need to be considerate of the surroundings, particularly at night. Thank you Tim and Sue for a wonderful weekend. |

The excellent facilities, including the hot tub, barbecue, massage chairs, table football, pool table and other amenities, created the perfect environment for both team building and productive discussions. The spacious meeting room was also ideal for our business sessions, providing a comfortable and professional setting in which to work. |

Our company did a company offsite at the painswick retreat, it was so much fun and everybody had their own bedroom. The amenities were really good and we had the chance to have so many acitivities and the projector room was top quality. You can go onsee more
Our company did a company offsite at the painswick retreat, it was so much fun and everybody had their own bedroom. The amenities were really good and we had the chance to have so many acitivities and the projector room was top quality. You can go on nearby hikes, the local pubs in town and cook in not one but two kitchens with a bbq! The Hot tub was really nice to relax in the evening and the sauna was a great touch. Honestly this is such a great place for a group of 10+ people, would highly recommend.
