Nestled in the heart of the historic village of Painswick, Tranquillity House is a beautifully restored Cotswold home. Sleeping up to 14 guests, combines a spacious main house with an interlinked cottage, creating a flexible setting for family celebrations, special occasions and group getaways.

Carefully renovated to preserve its heritage, the house showcases exposed Cotswold stone, original wooden beams and elegant period details, complemented by thoughtfully chosen modern touches. Generous living spaces invite guests to relax together, A PlayStation console and 50-inch smart TV are provided for guests’ relaxation, as well as a curated library and selection of board games. Whether enjoying a quiet afternoon with a book from the curated library, gathering around the piano, or spending an evening playing pool or air hockey.

The fully appointed kitchen incorporates original stone walls and a modern country kitchen featuring an electric hob and extractor, double tower ovens, dishwasher, washer-dryer, BIBO water system, coffee machine, fridge freezer and country-style table for quiet mornings. The interlinked cottage offers added privacy with its own kitchenette and cosy living spaces.

Arranged across three floors, the six bedrooms, three king-size and three double, offer a peaceful retreat after a day exploring the Cotswolds, with many enjoying views across the village rooftops, surrounding valley and the iconic churchyard.

Step outside and discover the charm of Painswick, where independent cafés, traditional pubs and excellent restaurants are just a short stroll away. - The property comfortably accommodates up to 12 adult guests. A maximum occupancy of 14 guests is permitted where the additional beds are required for children. Please let us know at the time of booking if your party includes children who will require the additional beds.
- The security deposit may be partially or fully forfeited in the event of a breach of the house rules. This includes, but is not limited to, excessive noise, noise complaints from neighbours, unauthorised parties or events, damage to the property, or any other breach of the booking terms.
