Perched right on the golden sands of Porthcothan Bay, The Cuddy is a wonderfully positioned coastal escape with sweeping sea views and an unbeatable beachfront setting. The Cuddy is a truly special family retreat for all.

Inside, the house is bright, welcoming and full of character, with natural wood accents and colourful details that reflect its seaside surroundings. The living area is an airy space, complete with a fireplace and large windows that frame the coastal scenery, while a striking circular window adds a unique architectural touch and floods the room with natural light. The kitchen and dining space is both practical and full of personality, designed for sociable meals and easy holiday living. With its cheerful tones, open shelving and views out towards the greenery and sea beyond, it’s a space that invites long breakfasts, relaxed dinners and everything in between.

Stepping outside, the garden offers a lovely spot to soak up the fresh sea air. With outdoor seating and space to dine al fresco, it’s ideal for morning coffees, lazy afternoons or evening barbecues, all accompanied by the soothing sound of the nearby waves.

The sleeping arrangements are generous and flexible, making the property well-suited to larger groups:
Bedroom 1 features a double bed and enjoys beautiful sea views
Bedroom 2 has a double bed
Bedroom 3 offers a double bed along with bunk beds
Bedroom 4 includes a single bed and bunk beds
Bedroom 5 provides both a double and a single bed

There are three bathrooms in total—one with a shower, one with both a bath and shower, and a further shower room—providing plenty of space and convenience for everyone.

Porthcothan Bay is a much-loved, family-friendly beach known for its soft sands, rolling surf and excellent rock pooling, making it perfect for both relaxation and adventure.

For those keen to explore further, the surrounding area offers plenty to discover. The stunning South West Coast Path is on your doorstep, offering dramatic clifftop walks and breathtaking views. A short drive brings you to the charming harbour town of Padstow, famed for its food scene, while Newquay offers vibrant beaches and excellent surfing. From hidden coves to bustling seaside towns, this stretch of Cornwall has something for everyone to enjoy.

Pets are welcome to stay but please keep them off the furniture or let them upstairs.
