Alicesprings is a spacious and versatile holiday home, ideal for large groups, families, celebrations, wellness breaks and retreats. Set across two floors, the property offers generous accommodation, extensive leisure facilities, large communal areas and plenty of space both inside and out, making it an excellent choice for group getaways.

The large kitchen and dining area provides plenty of space for everyone to come together, with seating for up to 20 guests around the dining table and a full range of cooking facilities. There is also a large sitting room with kitchenette, providing an additional space to relax and making it particularly useful for larger groups.

The games room offers plenty of entertainment, with an American pool table, table tennis, arcade machines and a full-size poker table. There is also a bar with a large urn providing instant hot water, as well as a large music speaker and disco lights.

For guests looking to relax, the spa area includes a hot tub and sauna. Gowns, disposable slippers and large towels are provided. The property also has plenty of space for groups to socialise, dine and relax together.

Outside, Alicesprings looks out across scenic fields and has access to a spacious garden with plenty of outdoor seating. Guests can enjoy the large fire pit and BBQ, while three cold-water therapy tubs provide an additional outdoor wellness experience. There is also a significant amount of on-site car parking, making the property particularly convenient for larger groups travelling by car.

The bedrooms are arranged across the first and second floors:
Bedroom 1: Two single beds with an accessible bathroom featuring a flat-floor shower and support handrails. The room can be adapted for disabled access, with one bed removed and an electric single bed provided.
Bedroom 2: Double bunk beds, with an additional single bed available on request.
Bedroom 3: Double and single bunk beds, plus one additional single bed.
Bedroom 4: Two single beds and one double bed.
Bedroom 5: Double bunk bed with a single bed above and an en-suite bathroom.

The first floor has three bathrooms and three showers in total, while the second floor has a further bathroom with both a bath and shower. Two travel cots are also available.

Alicesprings is ideally located for exploring both Edinburgh and Glasgow, with the train station approximately a five-minute drive away. The station offers free car parking and direct train services into both cities, making it easy to enjoy days out without having to drive. Motorway access is also around five minutes away, providing convenient links to Edinburgh, Glasgow and the surrounding area.

One of the unique features of Alicesprings is the wonderful variety of animals living on site. Guests may meet dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, giant rabbits including English and French Lops, chinchillas, hedgehogs, African snails, a Sulcata tortoise, chameleons, bearded dragons and geckos. Depending on the time of year, there may also be kittens, puppies and chicks on site. Some animals, including the snakes, are kept securely away from guest areas. Guests are kindly asked to treat the animals and their surroundings with care and respect, and not to feed or approach them without permission. Children should be supervised around the animals at all times.

For something extra special, private animal experiences can be arranged in advance for your group, including feeding the animals, taking photographs and learning more about the different species. Holistic experiences can also be arranged, including shamanic drumming, crystal sessions, meditation and mediumship, with a range of packages available to suit your group, schedule or celebration.

Guests have exclusive use of the first and second floors, providing a private and comfortable space throughout their stay. The only shared area is the main front entrance to the building. The owners live on-site and are available nearby while also caring for the animals at the property, ensuring help is on hand should you need it while still allowing guests to enjoy their own privacy.
