We had a great 5 day break in Apartment 5. The location from the village of Thornton Le Dale is about 5 minutes walk away. Pickering is a 5 minute drive. We found other walks in the area started directly from the apartment. The accommodation was clemehr anzeigen
We had a great 5 day break in Apartment 5. The location from the village of Thornton Le Dale is about 5 minutes walk away. Pickering is a 5 minute drive. We found other walks in the area started directly from the apartment. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had everything you could think of provided. The village has a pub serving food, as well as several cafes, fish and chip shop, grocery stores and other amenities. If you are fans of Bangers and Cash, Mathewson in the village is worth a visit. Might be worth mentioning the shower room/toilet are downstairs. It was great to have some outdoor space in the nice weather. We would 100 per cent visit again.

Stairs in apartment, but took time so not a problem. Bed comfy but low, realise due to low ceiling in bedroom this is required. Lacked a mirror in bathroom for shaving.

Issue with heating upstairs toasty warm but we struggled to get downstairs warm enough to sit and relax without using a throw. Position of microwave impossible to use in position its in as door won't open so needed to move it out onto worktop. Simplemehr anzeigen
