Lovely modern spacious apartment complete with everything you need. Quiet location within a short walking distance from the centre of the village and walking footpaths. Plenty of parking was a bonus and a small outdoor area with seating and a table see more

Brilliant location, close to everything, particularly if you are visiting Mathewsons in Thornton le Dale. The apartment you have everything you need for staying and there was a nice walk on route with lots of seats on route.

As it is dog friendly, it would be good to have a wee gate at the end of the cobble patio to secvure dogs at the front. The bed is very low especially for anyone who has mobility issues but it does give you a brilliant sleep.

There was an odour in the apartment that was off putting. The carpets and upholstery could do with a freshening up. We felt quite cold in the property, the storage heater downstairs did warm things up a bit and the heater in the bedroom was fine.

We had a great 5 day break in Apartment 5. The location from the village of Thornton Le Dale is about 5 minutes walk away. Pickering is a 5 minute drive. We found other walks in the area started directly from the apartment. The accommodation was clesee more
We had a great 5 day break in Apartment 5. The location from the village of Thornton Le Dale is about 5 minutes walk away. Pickering is a 5 minute drive. We found other walks in the area started directly from the apartment. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had everything you could think of provided. The village has a pub serving food, as well as several cafes, fish and chip shop, grocery stores and other amenities. If you are fans of Bangers and Cash, Mathewson in the village is worth a visit. Might be worth mentioning the shower room/toilet are downstairs. It was great to have some outdoor space in the nice weather. We would 100 per cent visit again.

Stairs in apartment, but took time so not a problem. Bed comfy but low, realise due to low ceiling in bedroom this is required. Lacked a mirror in bathroom for shaving.

Issue with heating upstairs toasty warm but we struggled to get downstairs warm enough to sit and relax without using a throw. Position of microwave impossible to use in position its in as door won't open so needed to move it out onto worktop. Simplesee more
